Dr. Zeitz and KidsThe University of Northern Iowa is pleased to continue its relationship with faculty and students at partner institutions in Poland and the Netherlands. Working together, our students are benefiting from opportunities to learn from one another and broaden their experiences.

The study of educational technology and teacher preparation is the foundation for our activities and travel plans. UNI students traveled to Poznan, Poland, and Deventer, the Netherlands, to learn about the systems of education in these countries and how each is utilizing technology to enhance student learning. Likewise, students from the University of Adam Mickiewicz in Poznan, Poland, are traveling to Iowa.

While abroad, University students are working with local K-12 students. This year's activities are centered around the concept of culture. Three teams of university students are collaborating with local schools to develop unique activities that involve technology and focus on the concept of culture.
